Thanks to Tucano’s at the Riverwoods in North Provo, many of us have gotten a taste of some truly delicious Brazilian-style grilled meat.
Despite the fact that Tucano’s is a sort of all you can eat buffet, this tantalizing taste is often just enough to whet the appetite and will have you coming back for more.
Of the dining options in a college town, pizza is generally a staple. However, there are few options that venture outside the choices of pepperoni, canadian bacon and combination. Slab Pizza, however, takes the cheap food staple to an entirely different level.
Is one of your Christmas traditions to bundle up and get cozy with some Sri Lankan/Singaporean food? Well, after going to Banana Leaf, it should be.
This new restaurant adds to the ethnic flare of Provo’s downtown dining scene. With a bright red, green and yellow building, this restaurant is not easy to miss.

Although I enjoy a nice traditional pizza, with cheese that stretches from every bite and flavorful grease that absorbs a hearty helping of crumbled parmesan on top, my heart doesn’t. As I’m getting older and having to worry about boring things like cholesterol and atherosclerosis, I’ve had to limit my greasy pizza intake quite a bit.
Despite all the “that’s what she said” jokes you could make about the name of this establishment, it’s actually quite a wonderful establishment. Being a chain, hopefully you can find it in your neck of the woods. With the winning tastes and food I am sure plans for expanding into more states is on the docket.
